How to measure

  • Waist — around the narrowest part of your torso, just above the navel. Tape level and snug, not tight.
  • Hip — around the fullest part of your hips and seat, about 7–9 in (18–23 cm) below your waist.
  • Inseam — the 32 in (81 cm) inseam fits 5'4"–5'8" with boots or heels. Shorter? They can be hemmed by any tailor without touching the lace panel.
  • Rise — crotch seam to top of waistband. High-rise sits at or just above the natural waist.

How do I wash it?

Turn them inside out and machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors, or hand wash. Use a mild detergent and no bleach. Hang or lay flat to dry — don’t tumble dry, as heat can loosen the pearls and shrink the denim. Never iron directly over the pearls, lace, or cherry blossom embroidery. The dark denim may release a little color on the first wash, so wash them alone the first time.

What size should I order?

Order your usual jeans size. The denim has stretch and the fit is high-rise, fitted through the hip and thigh, then flares from the knee. If you’re between sizes, size up for more room at the waist or down for a snugger fit through the hip. They won’t shrink as long as they’re washed cold and air dried.     Will they fit my body type?

    They’re high-rise stretch denim that hugs your hips and thighs, then flares from the knee. Most women order their usual jeans size. If you’re curvier through the hips, use your hip measurement in the size guide instead of your waist.

    I’m short (or tall). Will the length work?

    The 32" inseam is cut to stack over boots, so it fits best on women around 5'4" to 5'8" in a boot or heel. Under 5'4"? Wear them with a heeled boot. Hemming them would cut off the scalloped lace edge and the cherry blossoms.

    Is the lace see-through?

    Yes, a little. The side panels are real open lace, so you’ll see a hint of skin down the leg, and that’s part of the look.

    Will the pearls fall off?

    Wash them inside out on cold and skip the dryer, and they’ll stay put.

    Do they look like the pictures?

    They’re dark vintage-wash denim with blush-pink lace and pink cherry-blossom embroidery. Colors can look slightly different depending on your screen.

    What do I wear them with?

    A white tank or bodysuit, a brown leather belt and boots. Add a straw or felt hat for a concert, rodeo or night out. Pink, cream and turquoise accessories all match the lace.
